Brokerage firm dreams big

JRG Securities Ltd, a brokerage house into stock broking, commodity broking and insurance broking, plans to expand by opening 200 more branches covering all the states in the country by March 2006, Regi Jacob, managing director, JRG Securities Ltd, announced here on Monday.
 
Speaking to reporters after opening a full-fledged regional office at Rambhavan Complex, he said that there were immediate plans to open 15-20 trading centres in Dakshina Kannada district to reach the remote corners of the district for commodity trading.
 
"We have the goal to become the largest single financial supermarket in the country," he said.
 
Commodity futures trading will overtake a capital turnover of Rs 20,000 crore and in two years we expect a turnover of Rs 1 lakh crore, he said and added that in two years insurance will be done by insurance brokers in the country.
