BSE resolves 193 investor complaints in May

The Bombay Stock Exchange today said it has resolved 193 investor complaints this month, including those brought forward from previous periods.

A total of 190 complaints were received during the month of May against 150 listed companies. However, during the period, BSE resolved 193 complaints against 152 firms, a release issued by the exchange said.

The exchange received most number of complaints (93) on non-receipt of annual reports, rights forms. It received 29 complaints on non-receipt of share/debenture certificates after transfer/endorsement/conversion and bonus shares.

The exchange received two complaints, the least on non-receipt of credit with depository participants.

During the month, the exchange solved the 93 complaints filed by investors for non-receipt of annual report.

Trading has been suspended in securities of 10 companies in the Z Group, against which the highest number of complaints are pending, it said.

Companies against which highest number of complaints were pending as on May 31 included Vatsa Corporations (1,053), followed by Pentafour Products (270) and Mulkerian Papers (170).
