The exchange said that Liquidity Enhancement Incentive Programme Schemes (LEIPS) would be extended for trading members during the session.
Under the scheme, brokers and other market intermediaries are given incentives for a specified period of time to bring in liquidity and generate investor interest in those securities which have limited trading activity.
The transactions done during the special trading session would be settled under separate settlement.
