The Sensex has recovered partially from the day's low of 17,258, and is now down 364 points at 17,460. Sentiment had turned weak following the FM's status quo on the corporate taxes and hike in short-term capital gains to 15%. The NSE Nifty is down 118 points at 5,167.Tata Steel has slumped 4.4% to Rs 788. Reliance and Wipro have plunged nearly 4% each to Rs 2,441 and Rs 429, respectively.ONGC and Larsen & Toubro have tumbled 3.5% each to Rs 1,003 and Rs 3,516, respectively.DLF, Reliance Energy and ACC have slipped around 3% each to Rs 780, Rs 1,551 and Rs 784, respectively.Maruti and ITC have surged 2% each to Rs 853 and Rs 206, respectively. Mahindra & Mahindra has added 1% to Rs 687.Out of 2,659 stocks traded so far, 1,823 have declined, 782 have advanced and 54 are unchanged.
