The Sensex touched a peak of 11,090, and is now up 126 points at 11,076.HLL has gained 4% to Rs 266. Tata Steel is up nearly 4% at Rs 512, and Hindalco has moved up 3.5% to Rs 176.Gujarat Ambuja and ITC have surged 2.3% each to Rs 98.70 and Rs 190, respectively.Dr.Reddy's, ONGC, Cipla and ACC have spurted over 2% each to Rs 1,462, Rs 1,247, Rs 639 and Rs 777, respectively.Out of 2,526 stocks traded so far, 1,479 have advanced, 966 have declined and the rest are unchanged.Mastek is traded at the ex-bonus price today. The company had declared 1:1 bonus. The stock now trades at Rs 375.Southern Iron Steel has zoomed 20% to Rs 16.93. State Bank of Mysore, Himachal Futuristic, Kalpatru Power, Gati, Mahindra Gesco, Ind-Swift Labs, Aarti Drugs and Berger Paints have gained 10-17% each.Ashapura Minechem has slumped 5.6% to Rs 223. Nectar Life, Lanxess, India Infoline, Sesha Paper, Havells India, Ingersoll Rand, Indo Rama Synthetics, VisualSoft and BPCL are on slippery ground.
