California Prunes Set To Hit Your Nearest Store

The California Prune Board (CPB), the promotional arm of the California prune growers and packers, has appointed SCS Group, an agribusiness-consulting firm, as its representative in India to create awareness on prunes.

Although India imported a miniscule five tonnes of prunes in the August-July period, CPB has ambitious plans for the market and has developed an exhaustive programme encompassing sales promotion and other activities to inform consumers about prunes.
