Cardamom futures for April declined by Rs 6, or 0.67%, to Rs 880.20 per kg in 1,702 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract shed Rs 5.40, or 0.59%, to Rs 908 per kg in 156 lots.

Prices fell as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid a subdued spot demand.

Adequate stocks position in the physical market also put pressure on the cardamom prices.
