Cardamom prices rose by 0.36% to Rs 732 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions, tracking a firm trend at spot market on pick up in demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in January rose by Rs 2.60, or 0.36%, to Rs 732 per kg in business turnover of 79 lots.

Similarly, the spice for delivery in February traded higher by Rs 1.90, or 0.25% to Rs 762 per kg in 15 lots.
