Cardamom prices rose 2.40% to Rs 775 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions, triggered by strong export and spot demand.

Besides, restricted arrivals from growing regions too supported the upside.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in November spurted by Rs 18.20, or 2.40%, to Rs 775 per kg, with a business turnover of 23 lots.
