Cashew prices declined by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today, owing to fall in demand from retailers and stockists, following an end of festive season.
Adequate stocks, following increased arrivals from producing belts, also weighed on the cashew prices.
Cashew kernel (No 180, 210, 240 and 320) prices fell by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 610-640, Rs 575-595, Rs 515-535 and Rs 435-465 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said fall in demand due to end of a festive season against adequate stocks mainly led to decline in cashew kernel prices at the wholesale dry fruit market.
