Cashew recovers on tight stocks, festive demand

Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on increased demand from the bulk consumers amid tight stocks position.

Marketmen said strong demand from bulk consumers for the upcoming festive and marriage season against weak supplies from producing belts mainly supported the rise in cashew prices. 

Cashew kernel (No 180, 210, 240 and 320) prices rose by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 540-550, Rs 490-495, Rs 435-455 and Rs 410-415 per kg, respectively.
