Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists. Tight supplies from growing regions also supported the upswing in prices.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 gained Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 485-490, Rs 460-470 Rs 375-385 and Rs 360-370 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against tight supplies from the Southern regions mainly pushed up cashew prices.
