Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists.
Fall in supplies from growing regions also supported the uptrend in prices.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 490-495, Rs 460-470 Rs 370-385 and Rs 360-370 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from growing regions, mainly pushed up cashew prices.
