Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists ahead of festive season.
Tight supplies from growing regions also supported the upside in prices.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 495-500, Rs 465-475, Rs 375-390 and Rs 365-375 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists ahead of festive season, against tight supplies from growing regions mainly pushed up cashew prices.
