Cashew rises on fresh buying

Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists. 

Tight supplies from growing regions also supported the hike in prices.

Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 525-530, Rs 475-480 Rs 425-440 and Rs 390-400 per kg, respectively.

Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists pushed up cashew prices.
