Cashew prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists.

Tight supplies from growing regions due to slow down in production and positive cues from global markets also supported the upside in prices.

Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 10 each to conclude at at Rs 675-685, Rs 605-625 Rs 555-580 and Rs 505-555 per kg, respectively.

Market analysts said increased buying by retailers and stockists against tight supplies from Southern region due to slowing production, mainly pushed up cashew prices.
