Cashew rises on fresh buying support

Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today largely on pick up in buying activity on firm domestic demand.

Tight supplies from growing regions also supported the upside in prices.  

Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 to settle at Rs 625-635 Rs 585-590, Rs 525-530 and Rs 440-460 per kg, respectively. 

Market analysts said increased buying by retailers and stockists,supported by domestic demand mainly pushed up cashew prices.
