Cashew prices declined by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to fall in demand from retailers and stockists. Adequate stocks position followed by increased arrivals from producing belts also weighed on the cashew prices.

Cashew kernel (No 180, 210, 240 and 320) prices fell by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 485-490, Rs 460-470, Rs 370-380 and Rs 360-370 per kg, respectively.

Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists, against adequate stocks mainly led to a decline in cashew kernel prices at the wholesale dry fruits market.
