Castorseed futures prices tumbled by Rs 103 to Rs 4,621 per quintal today, following increased selling amid weak spot markets cue.
Market analysts said aggressive selling at every rise amid lower physical markets sentiment mainly caused the down fall in castorseed futures prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, castorseed price for August delivery dropped by Rs 103, or 2.18%, to Rs 4,621 per quintal, with an open interest of 2,560 lots.
Most active current June month contract also fell by Rs 42, or 0.90%, to Rs 4,621 per quintal, showing an open interes of 9,010 lots.
