Castorseed prices firmed up by Rs 110.50 to Rs 5,000 per quintal in the futures trading today following speculative buying on the back of higher spot markets sentiment.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, castorseed for delivery in July climbed by Rs 110.50, or 2.26% to Rs 5,000 per quintal, with an open interest of 3,160 lots.
Likewise, its prices for delivery in May rose by Rs 44, or 0.91% to Rs 4,905 per quintal, with an open interest of 8,300 lots.
