Castorseed prices climbed up by Rs 69 to Rs 4,988 per quintal in futures trading today following heavy buying by traders, driven by firm spot as well as overseas sentiment.
Marketmen said higher industrial demand against restricted supply in physical markets mainly kept the prices in green zone.
Strong export demand on low inventories also influenced the trading sentiments, they added.
