Caustic soda prices fell by Rs 50 per 50 kg in the national capital today on stockists selling coupled with reduced offtake by consuming units. Increased arrivals from the producing regions too dampened the trading sentiment.
Caustic soda flake declined by Rs 50 to Rs 850-900 per 50 kg. Traders said subdued demand from the consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts pulled down the caustic soda prices.
