Caustic soda remains higher on short supply

Caustic soda prices rose further by Rs 100 per 50 kg in the national capital today largely influenced by firm demand from consuming industries amid short supply.

Caustic soda flake rose further by Rs 100 to finish at Rs 1,250-1,400 per 50 kg.

Market analysts said apart from higher demand from detergent manufacturers and other consuming units, short supplies from producing belts also pushed up caustic soda prices.
