Caustic soda rises on fresh buying support

Caustic soda prices rose by Rs 100 per 50 kg in the national capital today, largely on the back of buying support from detergent and other consuming units.

Caustic soda flake rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 1,500-1,600 per 50 kg.

Traders said fresh demand from detergent and other consuming units against tight supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up caustic soda prices on the wholesale chemical market.
