Chana prices moved down by 1.03% to Rs 3,185 per quintal in futures trade today on increased arrivals from producing regions against sluggish demand in the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in April moved down by Rs 33, or 1.03% to Rs 3,185 per quintal with an open interest of 45,000 lots.
Similarly, the commodity for delivery in May contract lost Rs 33, or 1.01% to Rs 3,239 per quintal in 75,250 lots.
Analysts attributed fall in chana prices at futures trade to increased arrivals from producing belts against subdued demand in the spot market.
