Chana extends losses on fresh supply pressure

HIgher supplies of new season crop led to the dorp in prices

Chana futures for April fell by Rs 44, or 1.29% to Rs 3,366 per quintal in 79,930 lots.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX), the May contract declined Rs 42, or 1.21%, to Rs 3,411 per quintal in 19,370 lots.

Higher supplies of new season crop in the physical markets, subdued demand mainly led to the fall in chana futures trade.
