Chana prices fell by Rs 11, or 0.50 per cent, to Rs 2,177 per quintal in futures trade today on adequate stocks position followed by increased arrivals in the physical market against lack of buying support.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, chana for delivery in August-month contract fell by Rs 11, or 0.50 per cent, to Rs 2,177 per quintal, with an open interest of 997 lots.
The commodity for delivery in July contract also lost Rs 5, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 2,140 per quintal, with a business volume of 1,500 lots.
