Amid a weak trend at the spot markets due to subdued demand, chana futures prices moved down by Rs 25 to Rs 2,487 per quintal in futures trading today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, chana for June delivery moved down by Rs 25, or one per cent to Rs 2,487 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,51,320 lots.
Similarly, the commodity for delivery in July contract lost Rs 23, or 0.89% to Rs 2,564 per quintal in 1,49,630 lots.
Traders said subdued demand against increased supplies in the physical market mainly led to fall in chana futures prices.
