Chana prices moved down by Rs 10 to Rs 3,408 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at existing higher levels.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, September chana declined by Rs 10, or 0.29% to Rs 3,408 per quintal with an open interest of 94,500 lots.
The October contract shed Rs 4, or 0.12% to Rs 3,468 per quintal in 323,000 lots.
Traders said profit-booking by speculators at existing higher levels mainly led to the decline in chana futures prices.
