Chana prices moved up by Rs 15 to Rs 2,395 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators enlarged their positions the back of pick-up in demand at the spot markets.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in June rose by Rs 15, or 0.63% to Rs 2,395 per quintal, with a trading volume of 1,08,110 lots.

The commodity for delivery in July also traded higher by Rs 14, or 0.57% to Rs 2,462 per quintal, with a business volume of 44,760 lots.
