Chana prices moved up by Rs 23 to Rs 2,530 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators enlarged their positions on pick up in demand in the spot market.

At the National Commodity Derivatives Exchange, chana for February contract moved up by Rs 23, or 0.92 per cent to Rs 2,530 per quintal, with an open interest of 20,670 lots.

Similarly, the commodity for delivery in March contract gained Rs 8.0, or 0.31 per cent to Rs 2,615 per quintal, clocked an open interest of 91,270 lots.
