Chilli and jeera prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today owing to sluggish demand from retailers and stockists.
Chilli prices moved down by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 9,300-13,300 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality prices also declined by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 14,400-14,700 and Rs 16,600-16,700 per quintal, respectively.
Market analysts said sluggish demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks mainly pulled down the prices of chilli and jeera in the wholesale kirana market.
