Red chilli and jeera prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on increased buying by stockists as well as exporters, amid firming trend in futures trade.

Tight stocks following poor supplies from producing belts also influenced the prices.

Red chilli prices rose by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 6,100-10,600 per quintal.

Jeera common and jeera best quality also traded higher at Rs 13,600-13,800 and Rs 15,100-15,600 per quintal, respectively.
