Red chilli and turmeric prices recovered by Rs 100 per quintal each in the national capital today on increased buying by stockists to meet rising domestic and export demand.

Fall in supplies from producing regions also supported the rise in prices. Red chilli prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 7,600-13,100 per quintal.

Turmeric prices also traded higher at Rs 13,500-16,800 against previous mark of Rs 13,400-16,700 per quintal.
