In thin trading, red chilli and turmeric prices rose by up to Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today on buying support from stockists and exporters amid low stocks position.
Encouraging advices from growing regions and futures market also supported the rise in prices.
Red chilli and turmeric prices rose by up to Rs 200 to settle at Rs 9,500-13,500 and Rs 7,400-13,000 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said buying support from stockists and rising export demand mainly pushed up chilli and turmeric prices in the wholesale market here.
