Red chilli and turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on increased buying by stockists and retailers.
Restricted supplies from producing regions and firming trend in futures trade also supported the rise in prices. Red chilli prices rose by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 6,900-13,600 per quintal.
urmeric also traded higher at Rs 11,900-16,600 against previous closing of Rs 11,800-16,500 per quintal.
