Copper and nickel prices declined up to Rs 5 per kg in the wholesale local non-ferrous metals market today on fresh selling by stockists influenced by a weakening trend at London Metal Exchange.

In the national capital, copper wire scrap, copper wire bar and copper mixed scrap were down by Rs 2 each to Rs 362, Rs 381 and Rs 345 per kg, respectively. Nickel plate 4x4 followed suit and down by Rs 5 to Rs 895-1,009 per kg.
