The copper industry in India expects the market for refined copper to revive and record a growth of about 8 per cent for the next two years.
The turnaround comes after a steep fall of around 15 per cent in demand for refined copper in India during the previous year.
Prior to fall in the previous year, the market for refined copper was growing at a healthy pace of about 15 per cent due to the telecom boom.
