Copra Alapuzha dips on good supplies

Copra Alapuzha continued its slide in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today on sustained stockist offering amidst good supply position and subdued millers demand.

Copra office Alapuzha declined by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,000 from overnight closing level of Rs 6,100.

Meanwhile, all the other spices maintained a stable trend in the absence of market moving factors.

Following are today's closing rates in Rs, with the previous rates in brackets:

Black pepper (per kg) 245/263 (245/263), ginger bleached (per kg) 165 (165), ginger unbleached (per kg) 195 (195), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 6,000 (6,100)

copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,900 (5,900), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 7,900 (7,900) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 7,300 (7,300)
