Copra prices dropped further at the spices market here today due to subdued demand from stockists and bulk traders coupled with adequate supply positions.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai fell by another Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 8,000 from Monday's closing level of Rs 8,200 and copra office Alapuzha slipped by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,700 as against Rs 6,800 previously.
Copra edible Mumbai also moved down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 7,700 as compared to Rs 7,750 yesterday.
Meanwhile, rest of the spices closed stable in the absence of necessary buying support.
