Copra ends mixed in lacklustre trade

Copra Rajapur prices rose at the spices market here today on rising demand from stockists and retailers coupled with restricted arrivals. 

Meanwhile, copra Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode declined modestly owing to reduced offtake from millers.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai spurted by Rs 150 per quintal to Rs 9,250 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 9,100. 

However, copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode both moved down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 7,000 and Rs 6,900 respectively, as compared to Rs 7,050 and Rs 6,950 last weekend.

Rest all other spices closed stable in the absence of necessary buying support.
