Copra Rajapur, edible slips on lower demand

Copra Rajapur and Copra Edible Mumbai slipped in otherwise lacklustre spices market here today on subdued demand from retailers amidst ample supply position.  

Copra Rajapur Mumbai fell by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 7,800 from overnight closing level of Rs 8,000 and copra edible Mumbai also declined by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 7,300 as against Rs 7,400 yesterday.   

Other spices ended stable in the absence market moving factors.

Following are today's closing rates in Rs, with the previous rates in brackets: 

Black pepper (per kg) 243/261 (243/261), ginger bleached (per kg) 163 (163), ginger unbleached (per kg) 193 (193), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 6,100 (6,100)

copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 6,000 (6,000), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 7,800 (8,000) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 7,300 (7,400)
