Copra Rajapur slips on subdued demand, good supply

Copra Rajapur prices fell modestly in an otherwise steady spices market here today due to sluggish demand from stockists and retailers amid adequate stock positions.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai declined by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 9,200 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 9,300. 

Following are today's closing rates in Rs, with the previous rates in brackets:

Black pepper (per kg) 303/323 (303/323), ginger bleached (per kg) 175 (175), ginger unbleached (per kg) 205 (205), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 7,100 (7,100)

copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 7,000 (7,000), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 9,200 (9,300) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 8,000 (8,000)
