Copra rises on pick-up in demand

In restricted activity, copra prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today due to rising demand along with higher advices from southern region. 

Market analysts said increased demand from retailers due to increase in mercury led to the rise in copra prices.  

Copra rose by Rs 100 to Rs 7,600-7,700 per quintal.
