Coriander futures for April rose by Rs 259, or 4.01% to Rs 6,720 per quintal, in 32,680 lots at the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange today.

The January contract moved up by Rs 227, or 4.01%, to Rs 5,893 per quintal, in 5,893 lots.

Fresh positions by speculators and pick-up in spot market demand amid less arrivals pushed up coriander to hit its daily upper limit.
