Crude oil futures prices fell by Rs 20 to Rs 4,104 per barrel today on speculators booking profits at prevailing higher levels.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, crude oil for January delivery fell by Rs 20, or 0.48 per cent, to Rs 4,104 per barrel, with a business turnover of 59 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in February declined by the same margin to Rs 4198 per barrel, with a trade volume of 52 lots.
Market analysts said profit booking by speculators amid fall in demand in the spot market led to the decline in crude oil futures price.
