Crude palm oil futures prices fell by Rs 3.80 to Rs 627.50 per 10 kg today, after speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid subdued spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the May contract declined by Rs 3.80, or 0.60%, to Rs 627.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 706 lots.
The April contract traded lower by Rs 3, or 0.47%, to Rs 622.50 per 10 kg in 339 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at existing higher levels, subdued demand in the spot market also influenced crude palm oil futures prices.
