Crude palm oil prices traded marginally lower by 0.11% to Rs 536.80 per 10 kg in futures trading today due to sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stocks.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in June traded lower by 60 paise, or 0.11% to Rs 536.80 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of 123 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in May shed 20 paise, or 0.04% to Rs 534.80 per 10 kg in 10 lots.
Market analysts said off-loading of positions by speculators amid a weak trend at the spot markets due to subdued demand, mainly kept pressure on the crude palm oil prices at futures trade here.
