Crude palm oil prices traded higher by Rs 2 to Rs 374 per 10 kg in futures trade today on fresh buying by speculators on firming trend in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil prices gained Rs 2 or 0.54 per cent to Rs 374 per 10 kg with an open interest of 675 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in current month July edged up by Rs 1.20 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 375.10 per 10 kg in 1000 lots.
Market analysts said fresh buying by speculators on pick up in demand in the spot market mainly helped crude palm oil prices to trade higher at futures trade.
