Supported by a rising domestic demand in view of marriage season, crude palm oil prices rose by 3.40 to Rs 538.30 per 10 kg in futures trade today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, February crude palm oil rose by Rs 3.40, or 0.64%, to Rs 538.30 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of 31 lots.
The January delivery moved up by Rs 3.20, or 0.60%, to Rs 536.80 per 10 kg, with an open interest of 92 lots.
Analysts said firming trend at spot market on the back of pick-up in demand driven by marriage season, mainly pushed up crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
